Abstract The two-dimensional hydrodynamic model for bounded dust flow dynamics in plasma is extended analysis of driven vortex characteristics presence external transverse and weak magnetic field ( B ) a planner setup parametric regimes motivated by recent magnetized dusty (MDP) experiments. This has shown that shear the can produce sheared internal E between electrons ions due to × ?B -drifts cause rotation cloud levitated plasma. solution demonstrates neutral pressure decides dominance ions-drag -force. generates an anti-clockwise circular vortical structure, whereas -force very localized gives rise clockwise D -shaped elliptical structure which turns into meridional with decreasing . Effect strength , mode numbers, sheath are analyzed within MDP regime, showing noticeable changes its momentum. In regime high lower becomes comparable or dominant over ion drag peculiar counter-rotating pairs developed domain. Further, when flipped 180 0 -degree, both drivers act together give single strong importance -direction systems. Similar elliptical/meridional structures reported several experiments relevant natural driven-dissipative systems discussed.
